National News: The case of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, arrested on charges of espionage for Pakistan, is continuously taking a new turn. It has now been revealed that she was in contact with former Pakistan Police Sub Inspector Nasir Dhillon. A video call between the two, which Nasir uploaded on his YouTube channel on 14 April, is now going viral on the Internet.
In the video, Jyoti is seen talking to Nasir from her home. She also includes her tau in the call and mentions her "emotional attachment" from Pakistan. He said-"My grandparents were from Pakistan, so there is an attachment from there. Hopefully, after watching my video, more people would like to go to Pakistan."
Story of walking in Lahore, discussion of viral video
In the video, Nasir asks Dhillon Jyoti, "Wearing a kudi from India, wearing a sari, is walking in the streets of Lahore. The scooters were watching." Jyoti replies to this that "Anarkali had to show the Indian dress in the market. Initially there was a fear of how people would react, but everyone felt that I am Indian. Some people came to talk to talk, it was a very good experience."
Nasir talked about another viral video in which Jyoti was eating pakoras in Lahore and buying shoes. On this, Jyoti told that the people who went with him also liked the experience and the local people there also celebrated the festival with them in the temple on Shivaratri.
"Nothing like hate show", expressed connectivity to Pakistani soil
Jyoti says in the video, "Heard about Pakistan was a lot, but nothing like hatred showed. For the first time, there was a great reception. The people of India-Pakistan looked the same." Citing her family relations, she states that her grandfather was from Bahawalpur and Dadi Multan. It also said that she does not go to Pakistan only for content, but has a spiritual attachment to the soil there.
Pakistan's visit with the batch of 112 people, also gave information on visa process
Jyoti Malhotra said that his second visit to Pakistan included a batch of 112 people. He claimed that after watching his video, more people would also like to go to Pakistan. Advised to contact a person named "Bajaj" for visa and travel and said that his number should be in his blog.
Jyoti also said that "the embassy for the visa does not have to go, religious visits do not have any problem. Alone does not get a visa, one has to go to the batch. Karachi and Peshawar also have to go."
'Soft Journey' or Agenda in the circle of questions?
Security agencies have been alerted regarding this entire conversation and activities. Emotional association with Pakistan and frequent trips, dialogue with a former Pakistani officer and open discussion of 'backdoor' routes of visa-all these aspects have raised serious questions on the role of Jyoti Malhotra. Is this only "cultural and religious" journey or something else? It is now necessary for the investigating agencies to find out what was the real purpose of such contacts with a former police officer of Pakistan.
