BJP leader had lodged complaint
In a police complaint filed on September 12 by Sanket Gupta, convenor of the referendum lamina of BJP Delhi, it was said that the Indian National Congress circulated a deepfake/AI generated video on its official social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on September 10. In this, the image, honour and nobility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been damaged by showing him with his late mother.
The complaint states that this act is an insult to the highest ramble institution of India. It is a mockery of the nobility of women, expressly motherhood. It is an wade on democratic institutions and an struggle to spread unrest, hatred and falsehood in the society.
Accused of rabble-rousing PM's image
The complaint states that the image of the Prime Minister and his mother was distorted through this video. The honor, sacrifice and sacrifice of women were insulted. The public was misled by using fake material for political gain. This act is not only a specimen of personal wade but is a serious treason versus the morality and democratic institutions of the nation.
He requested that an FIR be lodged immediately in this specimen and investigation be started and the video should be removed from social media platforms. Technical information like IP logs etc. should be traced. Legal whoopee should be taken versus the culprits and strict punishment should be given.
Demanded to register an FIR
He urged to register cases under Section 356 (defamation), Section 336 (forgery of electronic record), Section 351 (dissemination of material to violate peace) of the Indian Penal Code, 2023, Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2000, Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
He said in the police complaint that firsthand whoopee should be taken to protect the nobility of the Prime Minister and his mother. There are many precedents set by the magistrate which protect personal nobility and defamation.
