New Delhi: The Government of India has decided to take a major infrastructure step for the Siliguri Corridor, popularly known as 'Chicken Neck'. This narrow but very important rail connectivity line will now be made underground so that it can wilt strategically increasingly secure and stronger.

‘Chicken Neck’ is the narrow strip of land in India that connects the mainland to the northeastern states.
