National news: The death of Punjab and Haryana High Court lawyer Aqeel Akhtar (35), son of former Punjab DGP Mohammad Mustafa and former cabinet minister Razia Sultana, at their Panchkula residence under suspicious circumstances has now taken a new turn.
The family initially attributed the death to a drug overdose, but a murder FIR has been filed at the MDC police station in Panchkula versus former DGP Mohammad Mustafa, his wife (Congress leader and former minister Razia Sultana), and other family members, including his sister.
