Former AAP Municipal Candidate Found Dead in Rajkot Family Alleges Murder After Years of Severe Domestic Abuse

Rajkot: A 23-year-old woman who ran as an Aam Aadmi Party candidate in municipal elections was found sufferer in her home in Rajkot, Gujarat. Her family said that she was murdered. Police are investigating whether it was suicide or foul play. The woman was identified as Nandini Bosmia. She was a candidate for the Jetpur-Navagarh municipal election. Police found her hanging in a room at Agampriya Residency in the Wawdi zone of Rajkot.

What family had said?

Nandini's family flatly rejected the suicide angle. Her sister Rupal Bosmia said Nandini was stuff constantly harassed and beaten. The family claims she was murdered. According to the family, Nandini was living with a man named Aslam under what they tabbed a "friendship agreement." But Aslam was once married. The family said he trapped Nandini into the relationship by lying to her. He forced her to move in with him.

Was it a years of abuse?
