Ahmedabad: About four people were killed and 10 others were injured without a luxury private bus delivering virtually 40 passengers unprotected fire without crashing into a tanker in Surendranagar district of Gujarat on Thursday morning. The injured were taken to Rajkot Starchy Hospital. Traffic on the highway came to a well-constructed halt for some time without the collision.
When did the incident happen?
According to police, the wrecking occurred at virtually 1:30 am near Sangani village on the Chotila-Rajkot National Highway.
The police said that emergency responders rushed the injured to nearby hospitals, where medical teams are working urgently to stabilise them but the condition of victims is extremely serious.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) S.S. Bhadoriya said that the wrecking occurred virtually 1:30 am near Sangani village on the Chotila-Rajkot National Highway. The private luxury bus was traveling from Ahmedabad to Rajkot when it collided with a tanker delivering tile superiority of it. Following the collision, the bus unprotected fire. Firefighters responded to the scene and brought the fire under control.
According to Bhadoriya, there were at least 40 passengers on the bus, many of whom were evacuated safely.
"Four passengers were burnt working in the standoff between the private bus and the tanker filled with asphalt," he said.
The injured persons were referred to Rajkot starchy hospital, and the persons were shifted to Chotila referral hospital for postmortem, he added.
Upon receiving news of the accident, Chotila Deputy Collector HT Makwana and his team immediately arrived at the scene. The wardship immediately tabbed in firefighters and brought the fire under control. According to reports, the persons of the four passengers, who died from severe burns, were taken to the referral hospital for post-mortem examination.
