New Delhi: The United States has sent an official invitation to India to join the 'Board of Peace' created for Gaza. This initiative has been started under the leadership of US President Donald Trump. The Government of India has confirmed that it has received this proposal.
How has India reacted to this?
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that India is currently reviewing the proposal. He clarified that no final visualization has been taken yet, and it is not decided whether India will participate in the first meeting to be held on February 19 or not.

The government said that India has unchangingly supported peace, stability and dialogue in West Asia. India's position is that any initiative that leads to long-term peace and a lasting solution should be welcomed.
