Washington: US President Donald Trump stated on Friday that he plans to raise tariffs on cars and trucks imported from the European Union to 25% as early as next week. In his post, Trump wrote, "I am pleased to signify that next week, I will be raising tariffs on cars and trucks inward the U.S. from the European Union; the tariffs will be increased to 25%. This is considering the European Union is not complying with our fully agreed-upon trade deal."
