New Delhi: In the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), India took a tough stand towards Pakistan and made it well-spoken that there is no possibility of restoration of the Indus Waters Treaty. Anupama Singh, First Secretary of India's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, accused Pakistan of patronizing terrorism and said Islamabad was using international forums for false propaganda. India moreover said that the country which has made terrorism a state policy is now facing its consequences.
Why was Pakistan tabbed 'Frankenstein State'?
Exercising the right of reply at the 62nd session of the UNHRC, Anupama Singh described Pakistan as a "Frankenstein state." He said that Pakistan gave shelter to terrorists for decades, trained them and made them a part of its policies. Now the same terrorist networks are rhadamanthine a threat to him too.
