Modi to British FM Time for World to Stand United Against Terror Sponsors

National News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the new UK Foreign Minister David Lammy on Saturday to visit India. This dialogue happened at a time when concern is being raised internationally about the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. During the conversation, PM Modi not only condemned the attack, but also appealed to the international community for decisive action against terrorism and protection.

UK Foreign Minister David Lammy strongly condemned the Pahalgam terror attack on the occasion and spoke of giving full support in India's anti -terrorism efforts. The official statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office stated that there was a discussion on extensive issues between the two leaders, including security cooperation, global terrorism, and strategic partnership.

PM Modi made it clear in the conversation that not only the terrorists, but also the countries or organizations that support them, it has now become mandatory to take concrete and collective international steps against them. He also said that it is extremely unfortunate to make terrorism rational in any way or to see 'Victim and Criminal' from the same perspective.

Important meeting of PM Modi and British Foreign Minister

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met UK Foreign Minister David Lammy on Saturday. This meeting is considered to be important amidst British condemnation after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. During this time the two leaders discussed widely on terrorism and issues related to it.

Need global solidarity against terrorism

PM Modi appealed to the international community for rigorous and joint action against terrorism and its aid. He said that terrorism should not be tolerated under any circumstances and it is necessary to take concrete steps against it. David Lammy strongly condemned the attack and reiterated Britain's support in India's cross -border fight against terrorism.

New strength in bilateral relations

The two leaders welcomed the successful closing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) (FTA) between India and Britain and the Dual Taxation Rescue Agreement (DTAA). PM Modi described these progress as a symbol of growing partnership between the two countries. Along with this, emphasis was also laid on further strengthening cooperation in areas like defense, security, clean energy, technology and innovation.

Negotiations with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar

The UK Foreign Minister also met India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar during his two -day visit. During this time, India's zero tolerance policy and importance of international cooperation towards terrorism was discussed. Jaishankar said that the terrorists should not be considered equal to their victims and expected the global partners to understand the clear difference between the victims and the victims.

India- Britain's growing diplomatic efforts

David Lammy's visit is part of efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations between New Delhi and London. Both countries want security, technology, and deep cooperation in the economic sector. This meeting has indicated that the two countries are serious about shared responsibility regarding terrorism and global security.
