Mumbai: Very painful news has come from Mumbai surrounded Ganeshotsav. On Saturday night, the idol of Ganpati Bappa was stuff taken for immersion when suddenly the big idol fell. 2 people died and 5 were injured without stuff hit by the statue. Two little girls weather-beaten 5 and 7 years are moreover among the injured. There was an outcry on the spot without the accident.
Where and when did the wrecking happen?
This wrecking happened virtually 10 pm on Saturday night. The place was Bhuleshwar zone of Mumbai, Jai Ambe Chowk near Kabutarkhana on Balram Market Road. It is stuff said that at that time the big Ganesh idol of 'Bhuleshwar Cha Raja' was stuff taken on a truck for immersion. Hundreds of people were walking together, drums were playing. BMC officials said that 33-year-old Sanket Navare and 30-year-old Brijesh Hemant Joshi died in the accident. Both were immediately taken to the hospital, but doctors supposed them dead. 5 people were injured. The names of the injured are - 38 year old Vaibhav Chainad, 25 year old Pawan Chaurasia, 5 year old Lavanya Ganer, 7 year old Divya Ganer and 26 year old Kunal Kashid. Everyone is undergoing treatment in the hospital and their condition is said to be stable.

People had come with their families for the immersion yatra. Surrounded the sound of drums and the crowd, no one had a endangerment to recover. When the idol fell, a stampede-like situation occurred. Why is Ganeshotsav so big in Mumbai?
Ganeshotsav in Mumbai is not just a festival, it is an emotion. Bappa is established in every street and locality for 10 days. Lakhs of people are on the streets on the day of immersion. This year Ganesh Chaturthi is on 14th September. According to BMC, this time 3,767 applications were received for setting up pandals, out of which 2,729 have been approved. In 2022, 3,487 applications were received and 2,417 were granted permission.

Immediately without the accident, the police removed the prod and sent the injured to the hospital by ambulance. BMC and traffic police evacuated the unshortened area. Currently, the police are investigating the matter to find out how the statue fell and whether there was any negligence. Officials have appealed to the people to maintain loftiness from big idols during immersion and take superintendency of safety.
