Bihar: Amidst the NEET paper leak specimen in Rajasthan, an plane worthier revelation has come to light from Nalanda in Bihar. Ahead of the NEET-UG 2026 exam, the police have wracked an organised 'solver gang'. In this action, three people including a second-year MBBS student have been arrested. How did the police wilt suspicious?
Rajgir DSP Sunil Kumar Singh said that upper zestful was going on in the unshortened district regarding the NEET exam to be held on May 3. Meanwhile, the police were checking vehicles at variegated places. During investigation, two vehicles appeared suspicious, without which the police stopped them and started questioning them.

When the police searched the vehicle, wads of notes were recovered from it. During interrogation, the accused said that they had well-nigh Rs 2 lakh in cash. A young man introduced himself as a second-year MBBS student. Without this the police took the three accused and both vehicles to the police station.
According to DSP Sunil Kumar Singh, in the initial investigation the specimen seemed suspicious, hence everyone was taken into custody and their mobile phones were examined.
What did major vestige reveal in mobile investigation?
The next day, much important information came to light in the forensic viewing of the mobile phone. Police found shoehorn cards of many examinations including NEET in the phone. Apart from this, records related to money transactions and other digital vestige related to the gang were moreover recovered.
The investigating agencies suspect that this gang used to employ solvers in the viewing and get the students passed through fake means. At present, the police are rented investigating the unshortened network and efforts are stuff made to find out to which states the connections of this gang extend.
