New Delhi: During the 9th edition of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with the students and said that "education is meant for holistic life minutiae and not merely scoring marks in examinations."
As examinations tideway every year, PM Modi interacts with select "exam warriors" to help students remain stress-free.
This year too, the Prime Minister interacted with the students from Devmogra in Gujarat, Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, Raipur in Chhattisgarh and Guwahati in Assam.
Why should students focus on all-round development?
While interacting with the students, PM Modi emphasized that life is not just well-nigh exams and education is just a medium of development.
"I don't squint when at what has passed, I unchangingly squint at what is to come... There are times when teachers only teach what is important and can help you score good marks, but a good teacher focuses on spherical minutiae and teaches everything... Life is not just well-nigh exams. Education is just a medium of our development... Exams should never be the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is spherical development," PM Modi said.
A wonderful discussion with students on unescapable exams with conviction and positivity. Do watch this very special episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha!#ParikshaPeCharcha26 https://t.co/k7IN79qvek
