Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit five states — Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar — between September 13 and 15 (Saturday to Monday). Assam Projects
In Assam, PM Modi will lay foundation stones for projects like the Darrang Medical College & Hospital, a GNM School and a B.Sc. Nursing College. At Numaligarh in Golaghat, he will inaugurate the Assam Bioethanol Plant at Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) to promote wipe energy and reduce fossil fuel use. He will moreover lay the foundation stone of the Polypropylene Plant at NRL to uplift Assam’s petrochemical sector.
Defence and Agriculture Focus
