Rain Fury in Uttrarakhand and Himachal Pradesh: Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in Uttrarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Both the states witnessed massive landslides. The continous rainfall in these two states caused landslides, which remoter resulted into major destruction, and house collapses. Reportedly, at least three deaths cases were reported in Mandi.
As per the reports, at least three people of a family died in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district, while hundreds of people were rescued in Dehradun. Relief Operations are underway in the disaster-hit areas. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the situation and a video of the same moreover surfaced online.
Meanwhile, heavy rainfall moreover caused major destruction in Himachal Pradesh. As per the official, a house tabular in Bragta village, which killed two women and a child. Revealing increasingly details on the same, Deputy commissioner of Mandi, Apoorv Devgan was quoted saying to PTI that “three persons have been recovered while two persons have been rescued”.

Due to the heavy rainfall and landslide, the Pathankot-Mandi national highway was shut at Harabagh in Jogindernagar. People of Tarna and Sanyarh zone stayed outside their homes tween heavy rainfall.
Rescue Operations Underway
