With this, a BJP government is set to be worked in Bihar for the first time. Without a long wait, it has been confirmed that Samrat Choudhary will be the new Chief Minister of Bihar. Samrat Choudhary will take the oath of office as Chief Minister on April 15 at 11 am. Previously, Nitish Kumar served as Chief Minister of Bihar for nearly 20 years, and with his resignation today, the "Nitish era" has come to an end. Nitish discussed his resignation in the last cabinet meeting of his tenure. He then went to submit his resignation withal with Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Chaudhary.
