In Barmer, Rajasthan, the love story that started on Facebook had a horrific ending. Jhunjhunu's Anganwadi supervisor Mukesh Kumari had driven 600 kms to Barmer to meet her lover teacher Manaram. But here she got death instead of love. To escape the pressure of marriage, her lover killed her by hitting her with an iron rod and tried to make it squint like an wrecking by placing the soul in the car.
Became friends through Facebook
Teacher Manaram, a resident of Chava village, became friends with 37-year-old Mukesh Kumari on Facebook in October 2024. This friendship gradually turned into meetings and love. Mukesh Kumari often came to Barmer from Jhunjhunu to meet Manaram. Accused Manaram is married and his divorce specimen with his wife is going on in the court. According to the police, Mukesh Kumari had pressured Manaram for marriage and there was a dispute between the two regarding this matter.
The police explained to both of them
On September 10, she reached Barmer from Jhunjhunu's Chidawa in her car and insisted on meeting her lover's family. On this, she moreover reached Chava police station. The police tabbed both of them and counselled them and without that both of them returned to Barmer.
After coming to Barmer, Manaram killed Mukesh Kumari by attacking her throne with an iron rod in a room in Shivaji Nagar near Baldev Nagar. The accused tried to make it squint like a road wrecking by placing the soul on the driving seat of the woman's Alto car. He slept comfortably the whole night and woke up in the morning and informed his lawyer well-nigh the soul in the car. Without this, the lawyer informed the police.
Was divorced from husband
The deceased Mukesh Kumari was divorced from her husband well-nigh 9-10 years ago. She was an Anganwadi supervisor in the Women and Child Development Department and was working in Khandela of Sikar district. The accused Manaram is a teacher in Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School. At present, the police have kept the soul in the mortuary of the district hospital. The family members are awaited. Without the report is registered, the soul will be handed over to the family without post-mortem by the medical board. Superintendent of Police Narendra Singh Meena said that the matter is stuff investigated and the accused will be questioned.
