West Bengal: In a major security violate and political flashpoint, Trinamool Congress (TMC) National General Secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee was violently attacked by an wrestling mob on Saturday evening in the Kamarabad zone of Sonarpur, West Bengal.
The senior TMC leader had to be rushed out of the zone by security personnel wearing a motorcycle helmet to protect himself from a thundercrack of stones and raw eggs.
