Udaipur: The joyful trip of a Delhi family turned into a tragedy without a two-year-old girl on Saturday died without falling into Pichola Lake from the second floor of the hotel's window in Udaipur.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning when the family was at the hotel's restaurant on the second floor for breakfast. The girl lost her wastefulness near the restaurant's window and fell straight into the lake.
The girl drowned within minutes and her soul was retrieved later by the hotel staff and locals.

According to police, Sonu Singh Tanwar (34), a resident of of Fatehpur Beri, Asola, New Delhi, was visiting Udaipur with his wife, Dr Monica (29) and two-year-old daughter, Dhimahi. The family was staying at Hotel Jagat Niwas. On Saturday morning, the couple arrived for breakfast at the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel.
Meanwhile, their daughter, while playing, reached a window near the restaurant. It is reported that the girl opened the window and, losing her balance, fell straight into Lake Pichola.
Hearing the parents' cries, hotel staff rushed to the scene. They immediately jumped into the lake, pulled the girl out, and rushed her to Maharana Bhupal (MB) Hospital. However, doctors there supposed her sufferer without examination.
What did the police say?
Upon receiving information well-nigh the incident, police from the Ghantaghar police station arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Police said the girl's soul was handed over to her parents without postmortem.
ASI Ishaq Mohammad of the Ghantaghar police station said that a specimen has been registered based on the family's report and the matter is stuff investigated. Police are moreover investigating whether there was any lapse in security arrangements at the time of the accident. Following this tragic incident, discussions have intensified regarding the safety standards followed by hotels to ensure the safety of tourists.
