Ingredients You'll Need

For the Chicken Marinade (Tikka):

  • 500g boneless chicken (preferably thighs), cut into bite-sized chunks

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to heat preference)

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp garam masala

Step-by-Step Recipe

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, mix yogurt, spices, lemon juice, salt, and oil. Add the chicken and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best flavor).

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

You don’t need a tandoor—just use your oven or stovetop:
