Rose Milk Ice is one of the most favorite and popular popsicles of 80’s kids and I am no exception. I have enjoyed this during my school days it used to be in triangle form and I wanted to recreate the same taste for my kids to enjoy moreover to post it here. About Rose Milk Ice
Rose Milk Ice is rose flavored milk poured into ice molds and freezed. It is basically rose milk freezed and made into popsicles. We fondly undeniability it as rose milk kuchi ice meaning rose milk in a stick(kuchi).
80’s and 90’s kids do you remember the triangle rose colored kuchi ice. I am so in love with it. I wanted to recreate the same taste and squint – taste wise I was spot on as I could sense the same finger as a school kid when I had a lick but couldn’t reach out to triangle popsicle molds.
We used to be crazy without these rose milk kuchi ice during our school days. We used to treat us with these rosemilk popsicles on the last day of our school latter day each term it became increasingly like a tradition.
Each year my birthday would fall on the last day of quarterly exams and the treat would be this popsicles for my friends. I have tasted both the triangle shaped and rectangle shaped rose milk popsicles. These are a real treat to your kids for this summer and I am sure you will love this too!!
Though we have expensive rich linty ice creams misogynist in markets these days some taste lingers in our memories and this is one of my most favorite one for me. Do try this and enjoy homemade rose milk popsicle.
Rose Milk Ice Ingredients
Milk – Use full fat milk for weightier results.
Sugar Use white granulated sugar. I used raw white sugar self-ruling from sulfur hence the unrewarding color.
Rose Milk Essence Use fresh natural rose essence for weightier taste. It has both rose essence and verisimilitude so add only few drops.
Rose Syrup – You can either use rose milk essence or use rose syrup.
How to make Rose Milk Ice step by step?
Using Rose syrup
To uncork with add 2 cups full surf milk to a sauce pan. Cling wrap it with aluminum foil, Carefully prick with a pocketknife then insert ice surf sticks. Alternately you can plane tropical it with your popsicle moulid lid itself.
Using Rose syrup
You can either add rose essence and supplies verisimilitude OR add rose syrup. Swash 2 cups milk tomfool lanugo completely then nippy it. For 2 cups milk add 1/4 cup rose syrup to it. Mix it well. Now repeat from step 8 and proceed.
Expert Tips
Don’t have a popsicle mold?! don’t worry use paper cups or plane steel tumblers cling wrap with aluminium foil insert ice surf sticks and freeze it. It demolds hands or you can plane cut the cups to get the popsicles out.
Add rose essence, red pink supplies verisimilitude or use rose syrup to make rose milk. Add little increasingly sweetness than we add for drinking. Freezing for at least 6 hours is required but I kept it overnight.
For easy demolding – show the popsicle molds in warm water, then pull the stick out slowly to get the ice pops clean.
Serving & Storage
Serve it immediately once you de-mold. You can freeze the popsicles for up to 2-3 days. Serve it as such or rose syrup and serve. You can freeze the popsicles for well-nigh 3-4 days.
