New Delhi: Due the ongoing West Asia conflict, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) users in Delhi-NCR have once then been hit by inflation. CNG prices have been increased by Re 1 per kg starting Sunday. This is the second such hike in CNG prices in the last two days. Earlier, on May 15, the price was increased by Rs 2 per kg.

With the new prices in place, CNG is now misogynist in Delhi for Rs 80.09 per kg. In Noida and Ghaziabad, the price has increased to Rs 88.70 per kg. The increase in CNG prices will most impact those who use this fuel daily. Millions of private car owners, wheels drivers, taxi drivers, and commercial vehicles in Delhi-NCR run on CNG. Consequently, the possibility of fare increases has moreover increased.

Now, the price of petrol in Delhi has reached to Rs 97.77 per liter and diesel Rs 90.67 per liter. However, there has been no transpiration in the prices of both piped natural gas (PNG) and domestic cooking gas (LPG) for cooking. The increase in CNG prices could remoter increase people's daily travel costs. State-owned oil companies said that the price changes were necessary due to rising international costs.
