SBI Net Banking Users Beware Daily 3 PM Glitch Could Disrupt Your Transactions!

Published: Jun 25, 2025

Business News: The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued an important notice to its customers regarding daily maintenance of its digital banking services. According to the bank, net banking and mobile banking services may be temporarily unavailable between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm every day due to scheduled system updates. This is a routine process aimed at enhancing the overall performance, security, and stability of the bank’s digital infrastructure. SBI advises its users to avoid making any important transactions during this time to prevent inconvenience. Customers may experience slow responses, login issues, or failed transactions while the maintenance is underway. The bank emphasizes that this short disruption is essential to ensure a smoother and more secure banking experience for all users.

Time and cause of problem

SBI maintains its digital services system from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm every day. During this time, customers may face temporary difficulties in the use of net banking, mobile banking or Yono app.The bank says that this process is necessary to maintain the functionality and security of the system. Under this, server updates, data backups and other technical works are done.During this time fund transfer, login, bill payment or other services may be slow or cannot be available for some time.

Effects for customers

  • Login may be delayed on the net banking portal.
  • Slow response or error messages may appear in the Yono app.
  • UPI transactions may fail or pending.
  • It may take time to check the balance or see the passbook.
  • However, this disruption is not permanent and is just 30 minutes.

Rescue measures and suggestions

  • Avoid important work related to net banking between 3:00 to 3:30 pm.
  • Keeping in mind this time, plan to transact in the morning or evening.
  • If you want to transfer funds immediately, take the help of UPI light, ATM or branch.
  • Wait for a while before trying again if there is an error in a transaction.
  • In case of frequent problems, contact SBI's customer service or nearest branch.

Cleaning from the bank

SBI has made it clear that this is not a technical fault, but a regular and necessary process. The aim of the bank is that customers continue to get safe, fast and stable service. The bank also informed that this maintenance is done every day at the same time, so that customers are already aware of it and they can plan their transactions accordingly. This fixed maintenance window of SBI can cause discomfort for customers, but aims to maintain the quality of service. If you are SBI customers, try to avoid any type of online banking activities between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm. This will prevent you from unnecessary troubles and will keep banking
experience better.
