Kyiv: Russia launched flipside major ballistic missile wade early Thursday morning, targeting the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. According to Ukrainian officials, several explosions were heard during the attack, while air defense systems unfurled to intercept the missiles.

The Ukrainian Air Force warned that increasingly missile attacks on the wanted were possible, urging residents to stay in unscratched shelters.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said a warehouse on the western outskirts of the municipality was hit by a missile attack. Debris from intercepted missiles fell on the eastern wall of the Dnipro River. Initial information suggests at least eight ballistic missiles were fired toward Kyiv.
