New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has started the new year with a trip abroad. According to reports, Rahul Gandhi left for Vietnam on January 1. The Congress leadership has informed the media that Rahul Gandhi's trip to Vietnam is his personal matter and he will return to the country without a week-long vacation.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi prestigious New Year's Day in Ranthambore, Rajasthan, where the Nehru-Gandhi and Vadra families gathered to gloat the engagement of Priyanka Gandhi's son, Rehan Vadra. Rehan's fiancée, Aviva Beg, and her family were moreover present on the occasion.

The BJP has taken a dig at Rahul Gandhi over his trip to Vietnam.
