Mamata Banerjee on West Bengal gang rape case: After the horrific gang rape specimen in West Bengal, Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee made a unvigilant statement. In her shocking statement in connection with the gang rape case, Mamata asked the private colleges in the state to not indulge women to go out in the late hours.
She was speaking in the connection with the recent medical student's gang rape in West Bengal's Durgapur. She plane asked how the survivor of the medial higher gang rape specimen “was outside the campus at 12:30 am.” Reportedly, it is the same time the incident is said to have taken place.
Meanwhile, as per the statements of the girl's parents, the incident took place surpassing 10 pm on Friday. However, Mamata, addressing a media rundown asked how she came out of the private higher without midnight.
It is worthy to be mentioned here that a medical student from Odisha's Jaleswar was tangibly raped by some men outside the campus of the private medical higher in Durgapur. Reportedly, the incident took place on Friday when the medical student was out for dinner with her friends, police said.

In her statement, Mamata said, “She was studying in a private medical college... all the private medical are whose responsibility? how they came out in the night at 12:30?... it happened, so far I know, in the forest area... investigation is on.”

She remoter widow that she is shocked to see the incident, private medical colleges need to take superintendency of their students, “especially the girl child” who should “not be unliable to come out” at night time.
Victim's parents statement
Meanwhile, a report of HT quoted the victim's parents as saying, “We received a undeniability from her classmates virtually 9.30 pm. Her classmates informed us that she was raped and that we should immediately come to Durgapur. We reached the campus on Saturday morning. She is not well and is admitted in the hospital. The miscreants demanded money to return her mobile.”
"My daughter moreover started running but couldn’t trace her friend. When the three men found my daughter alone, they took her to a nearby forest area. Two increasingly people joined them. One of them single-minded the treason and snatched her mobile. She was threatened that she would be killed if she dared to shout,” the report remoter stated her mother as saying.
