New Delhi: In a historic move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to move to his new office soon. It is worthy to be noted here that PM Modi's new office is scrutinizingly ready and he is likely to move to his new office by next month. PM's new office is 'Seva Teerth' complex, which has been built as part of the Inside Vista Redevelopment Project.
As per the reports, the shift is likely to happen on the occasion of 'Makar Sankranti' i.e., on January 14. PM Modi's new office has been designed to house the PMO, the Cabinet Secretariat, and the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), with each three of them getting a separate building.
Notably, the new office meant for PM Modi is named 'Seva Teerth-1'. The infrastructure of the PM's new office consists of modern workspaces and large formalism rooms. The theme of the new office is 'service' (sewa).
It is to be noted here that 'Seva Teerth 2' house the Cabinet Secretariat, while 'Seva Teerth-3' will house the National Security Advisor's office.
After the shift, the South and North Blocks will be converted into a public museum, 'Yuge Yugeen Bharat Sangrahalaya'.
For the minutiae of the planned museum, an try-on was washed-up on December 19, 2024 with France’s Museum Minutiae Agency. It will help in the technical cooperation for the museum.
What is the construction forfeit of Seva Teerth premises?
Also known as Executive Enclave, the Seva Teerth premises is stuff built by Larsen & Toubro at the forfeit of Rs 1,189. The infrastructure of the premises covers 2,26,203 sq ft. Meanwhile, new official residence for PM Modi, named "Executive Enclave Part 2" is under construction nearby.
It is to be noted here that the main aim overdue the new office is to modernise inside government workspaces and modernize efficiency in wardship and governance new Common Inside Secretariat (CCS) buildings. The new office will consolidate ministries that are currently spread wideness various parts of Delhi. One such building, Kartavya Bhawan, was inaugurated in August last year and is once housing multiple ministries.
