Hyderabad: A small treatise over supplies took a horrific turn in Telangana's Kamareddy district on Saturday night, where a woman tangibly murdered her husband with a sickle without he shouted at her for not cooking chicken. The 28-year-old scrap vendor asked his wife to prepare yellow curry for dinner. When the woman refused, a heated treatise started between the couple.
What was the reason of argument?
The deceased, who has been identified as Kodandam Shivaji from Gosangi Colony, on Saturday at virtually 9 pm, had a small dispute with his wife, who is identified as Laxmi, for not preparing yellow curry.
Seeing the quarrel, Dadaiah and Sharada, relatives living in the neighborhood, arrived at their house and tried to wifely them down. But as soon as they left, the couple then started fighting accusing each other for household work and food. The treatise escalated to the point where the couple began shouting at each other. Meanwhile, flipside relative, Nandini, came to wifely them down, but neither of them relented.
What did the police say?
As per reports, the couple were married for six years and have two daughters.
According to the Kamareddy inspector B Narahari, "During the altercation, Laxmi picked up a sickle kept in the house and attacked Shivaji on the neck. He tabular without the thumping and sustained a throne injury due to the fall. He died on the spot due to excessive bleeding."
Police said a specimen has been registered and the soul has been sent for post-mortem examination. The investigation is ongoing.
