What's New
The Bajaj Freedom 125, the first gasoline-CNG motorbike in history, was introduced by Bajaj Auto. The Freedom 125, which comes in three different models and five colors, was created to reduce daily costs for the commuter market. It will first be sold in Gujarat and Maharashtra before being expanded across the rest of the nation. The motorcycle's ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 95,000 to Rs 1.10 lakh.
A cleverly fitted 2kg CNG cylinder, situated behind the seat inside the bike's trellis frame, is the focal point of the Bajaj Freedom's powerplant. A 2-liter auxiliary fuel tank is also situated directly in front of the seat. Bajaj said at the unveiling that the Freedom had undergone 11 tests, including impact and truck-runover scenarios, and that the CNG tank had held up well in every test.
The single-cylinder, 125 cc engine produces 9.4 horsepower and 9.7 Nm of torque. The 147-kilogram bike can reach a top speed of 90.5 kmph on CNG and 93.4 kmph on gasoline. A button on the left handlebar cube allows riders to switch between the two fuels, and both may be accessible via a common flap for refueling.
According to Bajaj, the Freedom has a 200-kilometer pure CNG range and can go up to 102 kilometers on a kilogram of CNG. When combined with the fuel tank, the bike's range may reach up to 330 kilometers.
In addition to a basic combination braking system, the motorbike has features including a front disc brake in its top-spec version, a linked-type mono rear shock, and a traditional telescopic fork with sleeve protectors. Bajaj claims to have installed the longest motorbike seat in the world, measuring 785 mm, since a conventional gasoline tank is not needed. Additionally, a negative LCD cluster with Bluetooth connection is included in the top-tier model. A 17-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel, both covered in 120/70-section rubber (90/80- and 100/80-section on the basic Drum model), are standard on the Bajaj Freedom 125. The height of the seat is 825 mm.

- The first motorbike powered by CNG in the world with remarkable fuel efficiency (98 km/kg in CNG mode)
