Tehran: Now the war of fees has started on the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump said a 20% duty would be charged on every cargo ship passing through Hormuz considering "the United States is now the protector of this waterway". Iran is furious at this. Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi gave a uncontrived reply to Trump on Twitter.

Araghchi wrote sarcastically, "Trump is veritably right. Whoever gives unscratched passage to the ships should get compensation. But Iran has unchangingly been the protector of this strait and unchangingly will be." On the 20% fee, he said, "20 percent is too much. We want a pearly fee. Will take.
What plan did Trump tell?
Trump had said in his Truth Social post that America will henceforth be tabbed the "protector of the Strait of Hormuz". In lieu of providing security, there will be a 20% duty on all cargo. This process will start immediately. Trump moreover said the strait will remain unshut to shipping, but the move is unquestionably a return to the tampon targeting Iran.
Has America started the tampon again?
