In terms of Trading (the ownership and selling of goods), Punjab has taken the lead. The highest number of new ventures, 4,23,545, have commenced in this sector, attracting an investment of Rs 8,663 crore. This highlights Punjab's emergence as a major commercial hub in North India. This includes 4,17,992 Micro traders, who are boosting the vibrancy of Punjab's markets.
What are CM Mann's initiatives?
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's government is not resting on today's successes but is urgently working to modernize the future. On February 22, 2024, the government tried the insemination of an "MSME Wing," a groundbreaking initiative. This will be a defended office solely focused on supporting small industries. The wing will ensure that industries can hands wangle loans, prefer new technology and machinery, and sell their products both domestically and internationally.
