Bhopal: A freight train derailed near Maksi railway station in Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. According to reports, the train was traveling from Ujjain to Guna. Several wagons of the freight train derailed in the accident, splitting the train into two sections. The incident caused unconnectedness in the railway area.
Preliminary information suggests that the main rationalization of the wrecking was a wrenched rail track. The train lost its wastefulness as soon as the track broke, and the wagons derailed. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the accident.

Upon receiving information well-nigh the incident, railway officials and employees reached the spot and assessed the situation. Rail traffic was controlled, and repair work was started. However, officials present at the scene refrained from giving any well-spoken or official statement regarding the incident. Rail operations were unauthentic for some time due to the accident, and efforts are stuff made to gradually restore normalcy.
Station manager Mukesh Jain stated that the preliminary rationalization of the wrecking appears to be a defect in the track. A technical team from Ujjain is arriving at the site for a detailed investigation.
