Authorities Took Immediate Action
Soon after the incident, the district administration and emergency teams reached the site. The entire temple premises were cleared, and the injured were rushed to the district hospital. Some people were taken in an unconscious condition and are currently being treated.

Vinay Shankar Pandey, Commissioner of the Garhwal division, confirmed the accident and told the media, “At this point, we have confirmation of six deaths. I am personally going to the site to assess the situation.” Local police, electricity department staff, and emergency services have been deployed to manage the situation.
To ensure safety, the temple has been temporarily closed to the public, and people have been asked to avoid gathering in large numbers.
