Mohsin Naqvi on Asia Cup trophy row: In a fresh update in connection with the Asia Cup trophy, Asian Cricket Council (ACC) senior Mohsin Naqvi, has once then created headline with his latest comment. Mohsin Naqvi, who is moreover the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has now refused to requite the Asia Cup trophy to India. Mohsin Naqvi has now asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to organise a ceremony in the first week of November in order to take the Asia Cup trophy from him. He moreover asked to bring one of the Indian players withal with them to take the trophy.

Notably, Mohsin Naqvi's statement came without BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia told a leading English Digital that BCCI has written an e-mail to Naqvi, to hand over the Asia Cup trophy when to India.
Pakistani journalist Faizan Lakhani, tweeted, “Asia Cup Trophy row: BCCI once then reached out to the ACC chairman Mohsin Naqvi asking for the trophy. The ACC senior responded, suggesting a recurrence in the first week of November, “bring one of your players and receive the trophy."
It is to be noted here that the Asia Cup trophy is currently in Duabi's ACC office. There were strict instructions given that the Asia Cup trophy should not be moved from there or handed over without Naqvi’s approval.
A source tropical to Naqvi told PTI, “As of today the trophy is still in ACC offices in Dubai with well-spoken instructions from Naqvi that it should not be moved or handed over to anyone without his clearance and in-person presence," a source tropical to Naqvi was quoted as saying to PTI.
The source remoter said, “Naqvi has given well-spoken instructions that only he will hand over the trophy in person (whenever that happens) to the Indian team or BCCI."
