Speaking to news organ ANI, Sinha said, "This is a 'show-off and deceptive' budget... This upkeep is not for a ripened India. It doesn't write employment or the country's existing debt. The inside government owes money to several states. What scheme has been brought for the welfare of farmers? This upkeep is not worth rating."

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav moreover criticized the Union Budget, saying it ignores the poor and villagers. He said it doesn't create jobs and is only for the richest five percent of the population. Yadav told ANI, "This upkeep is vastitude the understanding of the poor and those living in villages. No jobs or employment have been provided in this budget. The BJP's upkeep is only for five percent of the country's population."
What did Nirmala Sitharaman announce?
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Upkeep 2026-27 in the Lok Sabha today, her ninth subsequent Union Budget. Stating that the Union Upkeep 2026-27 is inspired by youth power and based on three duties, Sitharaman proposed the commissioning of seven high-speed rail corridors, new defended freight corridors, and 20 national waterways over the next five years as part of the Union Budget.

These corridors will act as connectors for development, reducing travel time, lowering pollution, and contributing to regional growth.
