Julian Weber qualified on his second attempt
Neeraj achieved this feat for the fifth subsequent global championship, needing just one struggle to qualify for the final. He has previously achieved this feat at the 2021 Olympics, the 2022 World Championships, the 2023 World Championships, and the 2024 Olympics. Neeraj Chopra will now be looking to create history for the second subsequent time in the final. Besides Neeraj, Germany's Julian Weber qualified for the final with a throw of 87.21 meters. He secured his place in his second attempt.
Neeraj vs Nadeem
Neeraj will squatter a tough rencontre from Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem in the final of the World Athletics Championships. Chopra will squatter Nadeem for the first time since the 2024 Paris Olympics. This will requite him a unconfined opportunity to avenge his second-place finish at the Paris Olympics. Nadeem won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics with a record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters. Chopra, on the other hand, had to settle for the silver medal with a throw of 89.45 meters.
