Solarium: New look will be available on every device
Apple is bringing a unified design system called 'Solarium' for all its platforms - iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch and TV. With this change, the interface of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS will now look more futuristic, clean and visionOS-like. Experts are calling it the biggest design overhaul since iOS 7 in 2013.
Apple Intelligence will be smarter
This year, tremendous improvements are expected in Siri and other AI capabilities. Apple can further improve its Apple Intelligence features, including upgrades such as:
- Smart and context-based Siri
- On-device AI processing
- Battery optimization
- AI generated emoji (Genmoji)
- Interactive graphics tool (Image Playground).
- No longer iOS, iOS 26: Naming system will change
Apple is changing the naming of its software versions this time. Now iOS, macOS and other OS versions will be named year-based. That is, the next iPhone operating system will come with the name iOS 26. With this, you will get a new design, faster performance and better AI experience.
Apple's entry in gaming will be more powerful
Apple's gaming strategy will also be in the news at WWDC 2025. The company recently acquired game developer RAC7 and now it can launch a new standalone gaming app, which will give a premium gaming experience to iPhone and iPad users.
Hardware surprise? Could be M4 Ultra Mac Pro
Although WWDC is traditionally a software-focused event, according to some reports, Apple may unveil a new version of the Mac Pro this time, which could have a powerful M4 Ultra chip. However, the big hardware launch could possibly be delayed until later in the year.
