- Heat tawa. Pour one ladle. Spread in circle. Put little oil on sides. Cook one side. Flip. Cook other side.
- Done. Eat with any chutney or sauce.
- Time from start to finish – ten minutes.
I make this when I have no bread. No milk. No egg. Only flour and vegetables in fridge.
Paneer Stir Fry – No Milk Added
Some people think paneer needs milk. Why? Paneer is already made. You buy from shop. You crumble with hand.
Heat one spoon oil in small kadhai. Add mustard seeds. They crackle. Add curry leaves. Add one chopped onion. Fry little. Add one chopped tomato. Fry little. Add haldi, dhaniya powder, red chilli, salt.
- Add crumbled paneer. Mix. Cook for two minutes. No water needed.
- Eat with roti. Eat with bread. Eat plain with spoon.

Peanut Mix – No Cooking
Take half cup roasted peanuts. Remove skin if you want. Keep skin if you like.
- Chop one small cucumber. One small tomato. Half onion. One green chilli.
- Mix everything in bowl. Add lemon juice. Add black salt. Add red chilli. Add coriander leaves.
- Mix with spoon or hand.
- Done. Eat.
- Time – five minutes. No gas. No vessel. No milk. No egg.

Sweet Breakfast Without Egg and Milk – Yes Possible
Indians love sweet in morning. But without milk and egg, what sweet can you make?
Two things.
Sooji Halwa – Only Sooji, Water, Sugar
Take one cup sooji. Heat two spoons ghee in kadhai. Put sooji. Roast on low flame. Keep stirring. Stop when colour changes to light brown.
Now add one cup hot water carefully. Steam comes. Do not worry. Add sugar as per your taste. Mix fast.
- Cover for two minutes. Open. Add cardamom powder. Mix.
- You can add chopped badam or kaju if you have.
- No milk. No egg. Only sooji, water, sugar, ghee.
- Time – seven minutes.
My mother made this when milk finished. We never complained.

Banana With Coconut – No Fire
Take one ripe banana. Not raw. Not too soft. Just right.
- Mash with fork in plate. Add two spoons fresh coconut. Add one small piece jaggery. Mix with spoon.
- Eat directly.
- No fire. No vessel to wash (only plate and fork). No milk. No egg.
- Time – two minutes.
Children love this. Old people love this.

Quick Breakfast Without Egg – Everyday Indian Dishes
These are not new recipes. You know them. But I will tell you fast way.
Poha – Ten Minutes
Take thick poha. Put in strainer. Wash under water for few seconds. Do not soak. Do not press. Leave water to drain.
- Heat two spoons oil. Add mustard seeds. Add peanuts. Add curry leaves. Add one chopped onion. Add green chilli. Add haldi.
- Add poha. Mix gently. Add salt. Cover for one minute.
- Open. Add lemon juice. Add coriander.
- Time – eight to ten minutes.
I make this when I have no time to think. Poha never fails.

Upma With Frozen Vegetables
- Heat oil. Add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves, green chilli, chopped onion, ginger.
- Add one cup sooji. Roast for one minute.
- Add two cups hot water. Add salt. Add frozen mixed vegetables directly from freezer. No need to thaw.
- Mix. Cover for two minutes.
- Open. Add coriander.
- Time – nine minutes.
Frozen vegetables save so much time. Keep one packet always.
Bread Tikki – Using Leftover Bread
You have two old bread pieces. They are dry. Do not throw.
- Take bread. Dip in water for two seconds. Take out. Squeeze water with hand. Bread becomes soft.
- Mash this bread. Add one spoon besan. Add chopped onion, chilli, coriander, salt, haldi.
- Make small round tikki. Press little.
- Heat tawa. Put little oil. Shallow fry both sides till brown.
- Crispy outside. Soft inside.
- Time – ten minutes.
No egg. No milk. Only leftover bread.
Extra Protein Idea – Sprouts Salad
- Take one cup mixed sprouts. Moong. Chana. Matki. Whatever you have.
- Put in small bowl. Add little water. Put in microwave for two minutes. Or steam in idli stand for five minutes.
- Do not boil. Keep little crunch.
- Take out. Drain water. Add chopped tomato, onion, cucumber, green chilli. Add lemon juice, black pepper, salt, roasted jeera powder.
- Mix.
- Time – seven minutes with steaming.
Full protein zero oil zero milk and zero egg.
Small Habits That Make Morning Easy
I learned these from my own struggle.
- Keep chopped onion and chilli in small box night before. Morning you just take out.
- Keep sooji, poha, besan on same shelf. You do not search.
- Keep lemon in fridge always.
- Keep one packet frozen peas and mixed vegetables.
- Keep peanuts and dry fruits in small jar near gas.
These things save five to ten minutes every morning.
What to Drink Without Milk?
No milk tea? No problem.
- Drink warm water with lemon and honey.
- Drink coconut water.
- Drink fresh juice from orange or watermelon.
- Drink plain water with pinch of jeera powder.
